NURTURING PARENTING PROGRAM
Nurturing Parenting Program is available as a supplemental and supportive service to CFS’ Supervised Visitation program. NPP utilizes an evidenced-based curricula with the goal of promoting healthy parent child relationships through the provision of psycho-education and competency based lessons. Parents engaged in the Nurturing Parenting Program will work individually with a CFS Licensed Social Worker to assess and reflect upon both professionally identified and self-reported areas of parenting difficulties or deficits. An individualized plan will be developed with each parent and will provide skill focused instruction and lessons specific and relevant to the child/ren and the family’s dynamic. The NPP model provides for sessions and feedback to be provided before or after visitation. This program is generally not appropriate for families in the evaluative stage of their case, as the instruction and feedback sessions and resulting changes may impact the evaluation process.
FEES
This program is billed at the contracted hourly rate.
NPP can be scheduled as a half-hour or hour session.
